Playing time
Is everyone getting enough minutes? That’s hard to judge on gut feeling, especially a few weeks into the season. Coach Amigo tracks the playing time of every player, so you can see at a glance who plays a lot and who plays less, and adjust before it becomes an issue.
Go to Team > Statistics and scroll to the Playing time block.

Viewing playing time
You can see how much each player has played, as a percentage of the total match time or in minutes. Use the buttons at the top of the block to switch between the two. The average playing time of all players is shown underneath.

As a percentage
The percentage shows what share of the total match time a player has played: the minutes played divided by the total minutes that could have been played.
How it’s calculated: three matches of 90 minutes add up to 270 minutes. If a player played 155 minutes, that’s 57% (155 ÷ 270).

In minutes
This view shows the actual match minutes, without any calculation. The bar behind each player shows the minutes on the pitch (green) and the minutes as a substitute (blue). The number on the right is the number of matches. Absences aren’t shown in this view, as there are no minutes to show.

Choose what you see: played, substitute, absent
Use the buttons at the top of the block to switch the match statuses included in the overview on or off:
◉ Played (green): the player was on the pitch.
◉ Substitute (blue): the player was on the bench.
◉ Absent (orange): the player had reported unavailable.
◉ Unknown (grey): the status isn’t known. This can happen with matches played in an older version of the app.
If you switch on Played only, for example, you can immediately see who has had the most minutes on the pitch.

Sort by name or playing time
Tap A to sort players by name. Tap the clock to sort by playing time, with the players who’ve played most at the top. That way you can also see straight away who’s at the bottom of the list.

Playing time per player
Want to focus on one player? Tap a player in the player bar to see their personal statistics, including minutes played, matches, goals and cards.

Where does playing time come from?
Playing time comes from the matches you play with Coach Amigo. If you make substitutions in the app during the match, the minutes are tracked automatically for every player. Matches you enter afterwards count too. Read more in the substitutions explainer.

These filter settings apply to all statistics shown.

Select match types
Use the three buttons to switch competition, cup and friendly matches on or off. Only want to see how playing time is shared out in the league? Leave only competition switched on.

Select periods
Tap the period button (with the calendar icon) to choose one or more periods, such as the first half of the season or a tournament. You can also select several seasons at once.

Player collection
By default you see the statistics for your current team selection. Tap the button with the shirt icon to choose a player collection instead. That way you can compare your strikers’ playing time across three seasons, for example, or look only at this year’s new players, without changing your team selection.
